Valerie Yong-Xu Downing

Valerie Downing is a DMV-based multimedia artist. She has experience working with studio art media such as pencil, pen, acrylic paints,  oil paints, watercolor, and gouache. Her art has been featured in several exhibitions such as the 'Familiar Strangers' exhibition at Loyola University Maryland. Valerie has experience painting still lifes and animals but she has always been drawn to the art of portraiture.
